(a) No person shall begin to construct, reconstruct, repair, alter, or grade any driveway on the public streets, unless a written permit therefor has been issued by some officer of the city vested with that authority.
(b) The "Manual on Driveway Entrance Regulations," as published by the North Carolina Department of Transportation, is hereby adopted by reference as the official driveway regulations for the city. A copy of the manual shall remain on in the office of the clerk. (Ord. of 2/3/76)
