There shall be a Chair and Vice-Chair of the committee. The duly appointed Communications and Events Specialist for the City of Claremont will, at all times, hold the position of Chair for the Committee. An annual election of the Chair and Vice-Chair shall be held by the committee members and shall occur at the regular monthly meeting in July. The Office of Vice-Chair must be held by a committee member selected by Council. The Vice-Chair shall serve for one year from election, with eligibility for re-election, taking office at the subsequent regular meeting in August. In the event the Vice-Chair’s appointment to the committee is terminated, a replacement to this office shall be elected by the committee, from its membership, at the meeting following the termination. A secretary of the committee shall be selected and shall maintain the official record of the meetings.
