The design of all streets and roads within the jurisdiction of this chapter shall be in accordance with the city’s adopted standard specifications and accepted policies of the North Carolina Department of Transportation, shall apply for any items not included in this chapter, or where stricter than this chapter. Curb and gutter, swales, or ditches shall be installed as prescribed by the city’s standard specifications, in consultation with the City Engineer.
