Pursuant to G.S. 160D-803, no final plat of a subdivision within the jurisdiction of the city as established in section 9-4-4 of this chapter shall be recorded by the Register of Deeds of Catawba County until it has been approved by the proper board or official as provided herein. To secure such approval of a final plat, the subdivider shall follow the procedures established in this article.
