All connections for sewers on private property shall be inspected by the water and sewer department before the trench is filled, whether the pipes have been run within the building line or not. Sewer pipes or main drains are not to be raised, lowered or otherwise changed except under the direction of the water and sewer department. (Ord. of 4/5/77, Div. III, Art. 12)
