Sec. 5-1-36   Fire hydrants.
   Except as provided in section 5-1-33, fire hydrants shall be installed on all city lines at a maximum distance of five hundred (500) feet apart. In areas outside or inside the city where population density is low, a maximum distance of one thousand (1,000) feet may be used. The council shall determine hydrant spacing in questionable areas. (Ord. of 4/5/77, Div. II, Art. 24)
