Sec. 5-1-34   Water main extensions to new subdivisions inside city.
   (a)   Where a new subdivision of more than 10 lots is proposed for development under the city subdivision regulations inside the city limits, the subdivider shall pay 100 percent of the initial installation costs of the installation of six (6) inch water mains, valves, hydrants and appurtenances, within the development.
   (b)   Upon completion of structures and upon connection to services of 60 pecent of the total number of originally platted lots, the city may reimburse the developer for 30 percent of the cost of construction of water mains, valves, hydrants and appurtenances, provided the 60 percent development minimum is reached within four (4) years of the date of original final plat approval.
   (c)   Reimbursement shall be for lines located only within the subdivision and shall not include the costs of construction necessary to extend lines from t he current city system to a subdivision.
   (d)   The city may pay the cost of installing the lesser of the first 200 feet of trunk main or 25 per-cent of the total distance necessary to extend a service main to the area and may also reimburse the developer for oveisizing of lines greater than six (6) inches.
   (e)   All improvements must be dedicated to the city.
