Sec. 5-1-32   Sprinkler systems.
   (a)   Connections for sprinkler systems outside the corporate limits which are now or hereafter connected with the city water system shall be made with two (2)   standard fire underwriter's check valves, with gate valve and pressure gauge, arranged for testing the check valves, and such connections shall be made in accordance with specifications furnished by the city. All such systems are subject to inspection by the city.
   (b)   Any connections existing as of April 5, 1977 which do not comply with the aforesaid requirements shall be made to conform thereto within 60 days.
   (c)   No water passing through the connections made for such purpose shall be used for any purpose other than operation of the sprinkler system.
   (d)   In the event of the failure of any person to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter, the city shall, after five (5) days' notice, disconnect the premises of such person from the water system. (Ord. of 4/5/77, Div. II, Art. 22)
