ADOPTING ORDINANCE

ORDINANCE NO. 22-1114

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF CITY OF CLAFLIN, KANSAS, PREPARED BY THE AMERICAN LEGAL PUBLISHING CORPORATION, 525 VINE STREET, STE 310, CINCINNATI, OHIO, WHICH ORDINANCE BY REFERENCE INCORPORATES THE CITY OF CLAFLIN, KANSAS, ZONING ORDINANCE AS AUTHORIZED BY K.S.A. 12-3014 AND 12-3015.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF CLAFLIN, KANSAS:

   SECTION 1. There is hereby incorporated the Code of Ordinances of the City of Claflin, Kansas, as prepared by the American Legal Publishing Corporation, 525 Vine Street, Ste 310, Cincinnati, Ohio, and by reference incorporates the City of Claflin, Zoning Ordinance to be effective within the corporate limits of the City of Claflin, Kansas. No fewer than three copies of said Code of Ordinances shall be filed with the City Clerk to be open to inspection and available to the public at all reasonable hours.

   SECTION 2. That the previously existing Code of Ordinances of the City of Claflin, Kansas, are, and the same are hereby repealed where they are in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance.

   SECTION 3. This ordinance re-codifying the City’s ordinances is made in conformity with K.S.A. 12-3014 and 12-3015, and amendments thereto.

   SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect upon passage by the Governing Body and publication in the official city newspaper.

   ADOPTED AND PASSED by the Governing Body this 14th day of November, 2022.
