155.15 CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE POLICE AND FIREMEN'S DISABILITY AND PENSION FUND AND FOR MEMBERS OF NOBPA.
   (a)   Effective with all wages paid during and after April 1, 1990, the City shall "pick up" the full amount of the mandatory employee retirement contributions to the Ohio Police and Firemen's Disability and Pension Fund and the Public Employees Retirement System using the fringe benefit method and shall designate such amounts as employer contributions for income reported by the City of Circleville.
   (b)   The employees net pay will be increased while the gross pay would remain the same using the fringe benefit method.
   (c)   The contributions, although designated as employee contributions, shall be paid by the City in lieu of contributions by the employee. The participation of the members of the NOBPA is mandatory and the employees shall not have the option of choosing to receive the contributed amounts directly instead of having them paid by the City to the Police and Firemen's Pension Fund and the Public Employees Retirement System.
