249.05 QUALIFIED WATER AND SEWERAGE SYSTEM OPERATOR.

The Supervisor of City Maintenance, the Foreman of City Maintenance or any City Maintenance Laborer may be a person who is qualified to operate the City water and sewerage system. However, nothing in this chapter shall prevent the City from contracting with a qualified water and sewer operator to meet State statutory and regulatory requirements in the operation of such system.
