248.01 ESTABLISHMENT; COMPOSITION; GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY.

There is hereby established in the City an organized Fire Department, consisting of a Fire Chief and volunteer fire-fighters, in such number as Council determines. The Department shall have the charge, control and management of all fire-fighting apparatus which the City now has or hereafter acquires. The Department shall be known and designated as the Christopher Fire Department or just the Fire Department.
