222.01 RECORDING, INDEXING AND FILING; ERRORS.
   All ordinances passed by Council shall be deposited in the office of the City Clerk and such as are not published in book or pamphlet form shall be duly recorded by such Clerk in the Record Book of Ordinances and appropriately indexed by their titles and subjects. Such recording may be made by pasting copies of such ordinances in the Record Book of Ordinances.
   The City Clerk shall file and carefully preserve the originals of all ordinances that are deposited in his office. Such Clerk may correct any errors in the numbering of an article, section or ordinance and may insert the proper numbers. Such Clerk may omit words that have been inserted by clerical mistake or may supply, within brackets, words that have been omitted by clerical mistake.
