The Board of Directors shall have exclusive control of the supervision, care and custody of the grounds, rooms and buildings occupied and set apart for Christopher Public Library purposes and shall have the power to recommend appointment of a suitable Librarian and necessary assistants and to recommend their compensation. The appointment of the Librarian and any assistants and their compensation shall be made by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council.
