All standing committees shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to the approval of Council, at the first meeting of the new Council, after each and every annual election. However, nothing herein shall prevent the creation or appointment of such other standing or special committees as Council may from time to time deem expedient or necessary. (Ord. 4. Passed 11-4-29.)
