All applications for a license under this chapter shall be sworn to and shall state fully the name and residence of the owner or person in whose interest the business is to be conducted, the nature and character of the business, the nature and character of the goods, wares and merchandise to be sold and such other information as may be reasonably necessary to identify the applicant and the nature and character of the business to be engaged in under such license.
