668.01 CONSTRUCTION OF CROSSINGS.
(a)   A person maintaining, operating or owning a railroad or railroad track which runs into or through the City shall, at his or its own expense, construct and maintain crossings at all points where such track intersects with a street or alley. Such crossings shall be made of oak lumber of not less than three inches in thickness and such lumber shall.have a smooth surface and be flush with the surface of such pavement.
(b)   No person shall refuse or fail to comply with subsection (a) hereof after having been given reasonable notice to do so by the Mayor.
