652.16 DEAD ANIMALS.

No person shall deposit a dead animal in the City, or knowingly, or after notice thereof by the Chief of Police or any health officer, suffer, permit or allow a dead animal belonging to him or her to be or remain in the City, which animal is or may become putrid, nauseous or offensive. Such person shall be liable for maintaining a nuisance.
