470.13 NONLIABILITY OF POLICE OFFICERS AND OTHER PERSONS.

No police officer, towing service owner, operator or employee shall be held to answer or be liable for damages in any action brought by the registered owner, the former registered owner, or their legal representatives, or any other person legally entitled to the possession of a motor vehicle or other vehicle, when the vehicle was processed and sold or disposed of as provided in this chapter. (Ord. 374. Passed 11-2-70.)
