Except as provided in § 51.232, any person transporting NHLW to the sanitary sewer system shall first obtain from the Public Works Director a NHLW hauler discharge permit prior to any discharge to the facility. The annual permit fee shall be per vehicle, as adopted by the Town Council by resolution. Discharge of NHLW without a permit is prohibited. In addition to any other remedies available to the town, any person violating this section shall be liable for a permit fee for the first occurrence.
