(A) Whenever a service shall be installed, connecting any property or water-using equipment with the water supply of the town, the water will be supplied to the property or equipment through meter only, except as provided in § 51.260 for sprinkler type fire prevention systems.
(B) A separate water meter is required for new services established after August 23, 2004 for the following:
(1) Landscape watering (irrigation) of all landscaped areas greater than 10,000 square feet; or
(2) All water features having a maximum daily water consumptive use of 500 gallons per day.
