§ 50.19 CONSERVATION MEASURES.
   Upon the determination that a water shortage exists, the Council may order the restriction or curtailment of the use of water to the extent necessary to alleviate the water shortage condition and may implement any or all of the following:
   (A)   The sprinkling, watering or irrigating of any plant material, including the specification of certain days, hours or periods of time as well as place limitations on when plant material may be watered;
   (B)   The washing of vehicles, mobile homes, campers, boats or any other type of mobile equipment;
   (C)   The washing of sidewalks, driveways, exterior portions of buildings or any other outdoor surface;
   (D)   The operation of any outdoor ornamental fountain or any other structure without a recycling system;
   (E)   The filling of swimming pools and the filling of ponds;
   (F)   The escape of water through defective plumbing which means to knowingly allow water to escape through a system that is in disrepair;
   (G)   The limitation by hotels, motels and restaurants to the use of water to serve a customer in a restaurant unless requested by the customer;
   (H)   The limitation on the use of water from a hydrant for any other purpose than firefighting; and
   (I)   Other restrictions that may be required by the Council, including a restriction on applications to begin a new use or modify an existing use.
