§ 155.170 ZONING EFFECTS EVERY BUILDING AND USE.
   (A)   Building use and alteration. No building or land shall hereafter be used and no building or part thereof shall be erected, moved or altered except in conformity with the regulations herein specified for the district in which it is located, except as provided in this chapter.
   (B)   Height of buildings. All new buildings, and any additions to existing buildings, either temporary or permanent in nature, may not be constructed or erected to a height other than as specified below after the effective date of this chapter.
      (1)   Residential districts. LR Low Residential District, MR Medium Residential District, and HZ Holding Zone District: maximum height shall not exceed 2 stories. If a basement foundation is utilized, it shall not be considered a story if it is constructed substantially below grade.
      (2)   Commercial districts. TB Tourist Business District, CB Community Business District, CF Community Facility District, MF Medical Facility District, and CG Campground and recreational Vehicle District: maximum height shall not exceed 35 feet as measured from an adjacent roadway; or measured from the average finished or existing grade adjacent to the building if there is no adjacent roadway.
