§ 151.06 SIGN MAINTENANCE AND TREE CUTTING.
   (A)   Sign maintenance.
      (1)   All signs and their structures shall be maintained in good repair and safe condition and shall conform to the standards in this section. Maintenance carried out in accordance with this section shall not be performed such that the sign is enlarged, moved, or altered in any manner that would create or increase a nonconforming condition. Any sign violating these requirements shall be repaired or removed as required. Signs that require the placement of landscaped areas shall be adequately and properly maintained.
      (2)   No existing sign or sign structure shall be allowed to remain as a permitted sign if a business or a use no longer exists. Signs that are no longer permitted and signs that are abandoned shall be removed within 30 days.
      (3)   If a sign is damaged, any repair or replacement shall be done in conformance with this chapter and shall be completed within 30 days from date of damage.
   (B)   Unlawful cutting of trees or shrubs. No person may, for the purpose of increasing or enhancing the visibility of any sign, damage, trim, or remove any trees, shrubs, or other vegetation, located within any public road or highway right-of-way.
