Chimney Rock Village hereby authorizes the Rutherford County Inspection Department to have full powers within the municipal limits to inspect and insure compliance with all applicable state and county building codes. This does not limit the ability of the Village Council to establish additional code requirements as from time to time may be necessary or from the establishment of its own Inspection Department as allowed by General Statutes. All the procedures, permits or other applications as may be required by the County Inspection Department are hereby accepted and are applicable within the municipal limits of Chimney Rock Village.
