The following are established as maximum sound levels:
(A) Vehicular source other than a motorcycle operating on a public road or highway: maximum sound level may not exceed 92 dB(A).
(B) Other vehicular source other than a motorcycle operating on private property or public property which is not a road or highway: maximum sound level may not exceed 92 dB(A).
(C) Non vehicular source:
(a) Daytime/evening hours: 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m., maximum sound level may not exceed 65 dB(A).
(b) Nighttime hours: 11:01 p.m. until 6:59 a.m., maximum sound level may not exceed 60 dB(A).
(D) Vehicular roadside static or stationary noise level test - idle or RPM rest:
(1) Automotive vehicle maximum sound level may not exceed: 92 dB(A);
(2) Light trucks under 10,000 lbs. - maximum sound level may not exceed: 92 dB(A);
(3) Trucks 10,000 lbs. and over - maximum sound level may not exceed: 92 dB(A);
(4) Motorcycle maximum sound levels may not exceed:
(a) Idle test 92 dB(A);
(b) Set RPM less than 3, more than 4 cylinders 96 dB(A);
(c) Set RPM 3 or 4 cylinders 100 dB(A).
