It shall be unlawful for any peddler or itinerant merchant to peddle any articles of merchandise within the village. Charitable and non-profit organizations or special events may be exempted from this requirement upon request made in writing to the Council a minimum of 21 days prior to a regular meeting of the Council. Exemption requests shall be presented to the Village Clerk.
