(A) This chapter shall be known, referred to, and cited as the "Land Subdivision Ordinance of Chestertown, Maryland."
(B) This chapter shall apply to the incorporated territory of the town, and to the land within one mile of the corporate limits and lying within the area encompassed by the adopted transportation plan of the town. The regulations contained herein are adopted under the authority of Md. Code, Article 66B, as amended, and shall be in addition to any regulations pertaining to land subdivision promulgated by the state Department of Health or some other agency of the state, and in the case of any conflict, the more exacting regulation shall prevail.
