§ 145-7 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS CONCERNING NETWORKS UNDERGROUND IN TOWN RIGHTS-OF-WAY.
   (A)   Where the use of town rights-of-way is requested for underground networks, all such networks permitted will be placed at least one foot below all water and sewer lines. This includes fiber and new installations of electricity and phone cables. Additionally, because of the finite space for additional infrastructure below and above the road easements, fiber networks applying for networks where another one already exists may be subject to stricter requirements of depth and limitation of handholds so that they do not threaten the existing water and sewer infrastructure or cause a proliferation of handholds on the front of private lawn.
   (B)   Contents of notice. The notice required by this section shall require compliance by the permittee within 30 days of the notice, shall be in writing, and shall be served upon the permittee as required by law.
