§ 127-3 FALSE ALARMS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly give a false alarm by activating any device designed to warn the public of danger due to fire, or to summon firefighting equipment or personnel or by announcing in any manner the existence of a dangerous or potentially dangerous fire when no dangerous or potentially dangerous fire in fact exists.
   (B)   Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a penalty as provided in § 86(A) of the Charter.
