§ 127-2 DESTROYING, REMOVING, OR DAMAGING PUBLIC PROPERTY.
   (A)   Prohibited acts.
      (1)   It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to purposely remove or in any manner deface any sign, or to damage in any manner any public property belonging, in whole or in part, to the town.
      (2)   It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to, at any time or in any manner, deface or injure or remove any tree, fence, gate, railing, porch, building, or other structure upon public property and within the corporate limits of the town by writing, cutting, or any other process.
      (3)   It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to willfully break any streetlight within the corporate limits of the town, or cut or break any streetlight posts, parking signs, traffic signs, or traffic signal devices in the town.
   (B)   Violations and penalties.
      (1)   Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a penalty as provided in § 86 of the Charter.
      (2)   Each day that the violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such hereunder.
