Pursuant to §§ 16 and 17(ww) and 12 of the Charter for the town, there is hereby adopted as the Energy Code for the town that volume known as the 2015 IECC International Energy Conservation Code (as modified by the State of Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development), and all subsequent additions, supplements and amendments, published by the International Code Council. This code is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and from the date on which this chapter shall take effect, the provisions thereof shall be controlling in the construction of all buildings and other structures within the corporate limits of the town.
