A. General Regulations: It is unlawful to construct or alter any building or structure in the City except upon compliance with the provisions of this Title, and it shall further be the responsibility of the contractor to comply with all provisions of this Title and County, State and Federal building regulations. Municipal inspection is required upon the appointment of a duly appointed building officer by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council. (1964 Code § 283; Ord. 110, 1977)
B. Single-Family Dwellings: The minimum requirements for the construction of single-family dwellings shall be governed by the recommendations in the latest report of the Building Code Committee of the United States Department of Commerce, published under the title of Recommended Minimum Requirements for Small Dwelling Construction, and the City's zoning provisions 1 .
