A. Public Intoxication: It is unlawful for any person to be in an intoxicated condition in or on any street, alley or other public place in the city. (1964 Code § 478)
B. Consumption In Public Places:
1. Definition: As used in this section:
ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR: Any spirits, wine, beer, ale or other liquid containing more than one-half of one percent (0.5%) of alcohol by volume, which is fit for beverage purposes or intended for beverage purposes.
2. Prohibition: No person shall consume any alcoholic liquor or be in possession of any flask, can, glass or other open container containing alcoholic liquor in the following places:
a. On any street, roadway, alley, park, sidewalk or other public property in the city;
b. On any grounds owned by or under the control of a public school district within the city. (Ord. 200, 1984)
