This charter shall be submitted to a vote of the qualified electors of the City of Cheboygan at a general election to be held Tuesday, the 7th day of November in the year 1950. This election shall be conducted by the officers under the existing charter charged with the conduct and supervision of election, following the usual election procedure and shall be canvassed in the manner provided in the existing city charter on the first Thursday following said election.
