A. Notice Of Violation: Any person found to be violating any provision of this chapter, except section 8-2-10 of this chapter, shall be served by the Village with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The offender shall, within the period of time stated in such notice, permanently cease all violations.
B. Penalties:
1. The Village may revoke any permit for sewage disposal as a result of any violation of any provision of this chapter. (Ord. 05-05, 6-20-2005)
2. Any person who shall continue any violation beyond the time limit provided in subsection A of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in an amount not exceeding seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) for each violation. Each day in which any such violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense. (Ord. 05-05, 6-20-2005; amd. 2019 Code)
C. Liability For Violations: Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall become liable to the Village by reasons of such violation in treble the amount of such damages. (Ord. 05-05, 6-20-2005)
