The Entertainment Board shall have the duty of promoting, coordinating and scheduling musical and cultural entertainment in the Village Parks. Scheduling of such events shall be coordinated with the Village Recreation Commission, the Park Advisory Committee and the Director of Public Works. Where entertainers require payment, the Board may work with individuals, groups and companies, both for-profit and not-for-profit, to arrange for financial sponsorship of such entertainment. The Board may from time to time recommend general policies regarding the use of Village Parks for entertainment and cultural events for adoption by the corporate authorities, and shall be bound by such policies when they are adopted. The Board shall not itself have the power to establish or modify policies, enter into contracts, or spend public funds.
