There shall be deposited in the Pension Fund the sums required by law, which presently shall include 8.5% per month deducted from the salary of each member of the police force, the proceeds of an annual tax to be levied in such amount as is required by § 3-125 of the Illinois Pension Code, 40 ILCS 5/3-125, and such other funds as provided for by that section.
