§ 96.01 PROPERTY OF VILLAGE.
   All trees, shrubs, or other growing vegetation, growing upon the streets, alleys, or other public thoroughfares of the village shall be and are the property of the village. Rules for the care of trees, shrubs, or other growing vegetation shall be made from time to time by the President and Board of Trustees of the village.
