§ 50.117 TAP REGULATION; FEE.
   (A)   For customers located within the corporate limits, a one-inch tap shall be $1,150 for each connection made to the village water distribution system. For extraterritorial customers the tap fee shall be $1,200 for a one-inch tap. For taps other than one-inch, the fee shall be based on the current cost of material and labor.
   (B)    For additional irrigation taps, customers may utilize either a dual setter, single setter or an additional water tap at the fees set forth in this division (B). A customer with a “dual setter” water meter pit installed on the property, where the Water Department unlocks the second meter and installs an HRE and ERT, shall pay an additional tap fee of $300. A customer with a “single setter” water meter pit or a service line already installed on the property, where the Water Department digs around the existing water meter pit and cuts in another meter setter to the existing water service line, shall pay an additional tap fee of $700. A customer that requires another water tap for the irrigation meter installation shall pay the current village tap fee of $1,150.
   (C)   Water tap fees shall be paid at the time of application for a building permit, except in the case of a new service to an existing building, in which case fee shall be paid upon application for water service.
   (D)   If an application for building permit or water service is denied, the fee shall be refunded.
