All department heads of the village shall maintain bonafide residences within the corporate limits of the village. A new department head who is not a resident of the village shall be given 180 days to relocate inside the village limits. If the employee requires more time to relocate, he or she shall submit a request for an extension of time in writing to the Administrator stating the reason for requesting an extension. The Administrator may grant or deny the request for extension in his/her discretion. Any employee on call must be capable of responding on site within 20 minutes of the page or call.
