§ 110.25 RENEWAL OF LICENSE.
   (A)   Notice of renewal. All license holders will receive notice from the Building Commissioner via U.S. mail up to four weeks prior to the expiration of their license.
   (B)   Renewal deadline. License holders shall renew their license on or before July 1 of each year. Should a license holder fail to renew his or her license by that date, the license holder will incur a penalty of $25 so that the renewal fee will then be $75.
   (C)   Failure to renew license. Any license renewed after the July 1 deadline will be made effective retroactively to the previous July 1 renewal deadline. A license holder may renew his or her license up to three years following expiration as long as each of the previous year’s renewal fees are paid in full prior to the expiration of the three-year period. Any license holder who fails to renew his or her license within three years after the license’s expiration must submit to the license exam referred to in division (A) above. However, the Building Commissioner may waive such reexamination for good cause shown.
   (D)   Consequences for failure to renew license. Any electrical work performed by a license holder that fails to renew his her or license in a timely manner will be deemed in violation of this subchapter and subject to the penalties outlined in § 110.99 of this code.
