That certain document, three (3) copies of which were heretofore placed on file in the office of the city clerk, being marked and designated the 2009 international mechanical code, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., is hereby adopted as the mechanical code of the city, for the control of building mechanical systems as herein defined, and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of the 2009 international mechanical code are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part thereof, as if fully set forth in this chapter, subject to the modifications, exceptions and additional regulations set out in section 9-6-2 of this chapter.
