"Bus" means every motor vehicle designed for carrying more than nine passengers and used for the transportation of persons other than in a ride sharing arrangement as defined in R.C. § 4511.01, and every motor vehicle, automobile for hire or funeral car, other than a taxicab or motor vehicle used in a ride sharing arrangement, designed and used for the transportation of persons for compensation.
