Upon receipt of the approved Preconstruction Submittal, the Public Service Director shall schedule a preconstruction meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to bring together the City staff, City inspectors, the project general contractor, the project owner and other involved parties to coordinate the inspection process, administrative requirements for field changes, responsibilities for inspection scheduling, final questions regarding the approved plans and other administrative issues prior to the start of construction. After the preconstruction meeting, the Community Development Administrator shall issue a Zoning Certificate for Construction, and the applicant may start construction.
