Any owner or occupant wishing to make alterations to the exterior of any structure or any owner wishing to construct a new structure within or designated as a portion of the Historical District is encouraged to seek the advice of the Planning Commission prior to making the alterations or beginning the new construction. The Commission may, at it's discretion, seek professional advice, on behalf of the owner or occupant, from a qualified architect, which would aid the Commission in determining the quality of advice given to the owner or occupant.
