SECTION 6.05 DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY.

The Director of Public Safety shall be the head of the Department of Public Safety. The Director of Public Safety shall be appointed by the Manager with the approval of a minimum of four (4) members of Council being necessary for the appointment. If the Manager is appointed to serve as the Director of Public Safety, he/she shall be appointed with the approval of a minimum of five (5) members of Council necessary for appointment.
