931.01 CREATION OF PUBLIC ELECTRIC UTILITY.

The City of Chardon shall proceed to acquire, construct, own, lease and operate within or without its corporate limits, a public electric utility the product or service of which shall be supplied to the City and its inhabitants, and may contract with others for any such product or service.
