927.81 WATER METER TESTING.
   Should a person require of the Municipality that their water meter be tested for accuracy of measurement of water, failure, or other items relating thereto, the City shall test such meter. If such meter is within the applicable operating parameters set forth by the American Water Works Association Standards (a copy of such standards being on file with the Clerk of Council, or Public Service Director, and the Geauga County Law Library) the meter so tested shall be returned to the property and the property owner shall pay both a service charge for the meter test and an installation charge for reinstallation of the meter (see Chapter 921 (Water Service Charges) Section 921.17 (Charge For Meter Testing)). Should the water meter so tested fail to meet the standards as set forth herein, the meter shall be replaced at no charge to the property owner.
