Fire hydrants shall be provided and installed by the developer in accordance with the following requirements.
(a) Hydrants shall conform to, and shall be installed in accordance with, Municipal specifications.
(b) Fire hydrants shall be installed along public and private streets at the following maximum intervals, unless otherwise approved by the Authority having jurisdiction and the Fire Prevention officer.
(1) One and two family dwelling areas: 300 feet.
(2) All other areas: 250 feet.
(c) Upon private property, yard hydrants shall be installed in such locations as may be required by the Fire Prevention Officer under the provisions of the Fire Prevention Code and Building Code.
